Hailing from Rambouillet near Paris, French singer-songswriter Timothée Duperray aka Tim Dup took his first piano lessons at the age of seven and already played a few compositions on Music Day when he was in high school. He later began to perform at various bars and venues in the capital. He has released three albums so far. And you probably discovered him on Morphosis. He is now back with a brand new track entitled "Et tu restes" ('There you stay'). This poetic homage to an oak tree is taken from the soundtrack of upcoming documentary film "Le chêne' ('Heart of oak') by Laurent Charbonnier & Michel Seydoux due out in February. Considered the king of the forest, the oak symbolizes power and longevity. Yet, it is little known that the oak is also the busiest social network in Europe. It's both a shelter and a source of life that offers protection and hope. Set to music by Eric Serra ('The Big Blue'), this film is more than a documentary : it's a nature and wildlife opera.
