Born in Los Angeles, California, and bred in Monterrey, Mexico, Alexander Daniel Hoyer Hurtado aka Alex Hoyer began starring on the Nickelodeon Latin American teen telenovela "Kally's mashup" in 2017. He released his first music video, a cover of the Chris Brown song "With you", in September of 2013. In 2014, he competed in The Voice México and he got all four judges to turn their chairs during the blind auditions. He ended up choosing Ricky Martin as his coach. After "Dementes" and "Cruda" last year (here on Morphosis), dude is now back with a new track entitled "Película" (Spanish for "Movie"). He stated his fave romcom is the one he lives every day. It's a romantic pop song about that moment when you appreciate the love you feel for someone so much, that everything both start experiencing together feels like living in a movie. The theme gives the sensation of reliving all the best moments with the loved one. The inspiration arose after a trip to Madrid that lasted just over a month, during which Alex lived a great love story. He remembered every moment as if he had been the protagonist of his own romantic comedy. This feeling of nostalgia is highlighted by the promo video directed by Gaby Noya, full of retro elements and vintage aesthetics. "I would like to convey through this song a bit of what I am living intensely today: love", he explained. "I hope this song will get people excited again, encourage them to want to fall in love. And for those who are already giving and receiving love with their partner, reinforce this feeling which I guess is the strongest in the world".
