Hailing from Central Java, Danar Widianto, 20, came in third place in the third season of The X Factor Indonesia in 2022. After three hits you could discover last year on Morphosis (here), he's now back with a fourth track entitled "Perjalanan" ('Journey'). This song tells the story of someone experiencing a new phase in their life. What was initially condidered as the end of a 'journey' turned into the beginning of everything. Here the word can be understood in a more universal sense : marriage, competition, experience, or it can even serve as a metaphor for a problem being faced. This journey seems to be an illustration of everyday life with people always wondering what's next. "It's a part of my life too", the singer said. "The song is about the eternal questions like 'what am I gonna do tomorrow ?', 'will I be able to eat tomorrow ?', 'will I still be alive tomorrow ?'", he explained. It also shows the twists and turns of life so that everyone is always waiting to see whether their life will match their expectations or not, because it turns out it might be better or worse than their expectations.
