Canadian singer Johnny Orlando first received attention on social media by posting covers of pop songs to his YouTube channel. He has cited Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes among his primary musical inspirations. He released his first EP in 2015 when he was twelve years old, and after a third EP he dropped his début album "All the things that could go wrong" in 2022. After "Boyfriend" you could discover some weeks ago on Morphosis (here), he's now back with a new track entitled "A man like me" with heartfelt lyrics about a breakup that convey a sense of self-awareness and resignation about the difficulty of maintaining a relationship with someone who acknowledges their own flaws and tendencies to hurt others. The song's infectious melody and his emotive vocals create an irresistible combination that can resonate with fans of all ages. "I'd never written about something that I was actively going through, and the process really helped me see things clearly and rationalize this experience that was formerly one of my biggest fears", he explained.
