He's the son of actor Alessandro Gassmann and the grandson of late superstar Vittorio Gassman. He participated in the 12th season of The X Factor Italia in 2018, where he ended up fifth. He then dropped his début single "Piume" you could discover on Morphosis. He has released two albums so far. And after "Capiscimi" (here), Leo Gassmann is now back with a new track entitled "Dammi un bacio jà" ('Gimme a kiss') -also the soundtrack for the second season of Italian series "Un professore" (starring his dad). "This song is about a love that changes over time, but remains eternal", he explained. "It talks about dudes, Rome, traffic, a relationship with a woman who brings enthusiasm and joie de vivre. The multiple themes of the lyrics match very well with the story in the Rai series, which I am a fan of". The song is also the backdrop to the love story between Simone and Manuel (Nicolas Muapas and Damiano Gavino). The promo video was directed by Giampiero Gratta.
