Hailing from Bitetto, a small town located just above the heel of the Italian boot, Alessio Mininni aka Maninni fell in love with music after attending a U2 concert with his father at the age of nine, and took up guitar shortly thereafter. He competed in the 16th season of Italian talent show Amici di Maria de Filippi in 2016. And Morphosis habitués could discover him a year later with his début single "Parlami di te". After "Graffi" and "Monolocale" (here), dude is now back with a new track entitled "Spettacolare" ('Spectacular') he will perform tomorrow in the official competition of the Sanremo Music Festival. This is the title song of his very first album out today. "[This single] contains the most beautiful moments lived with fragility, love and passion", he explained. "And often if you manage to face obstacles with another aspect, everything can become spectacular. It's a mix between pop and rock". The promo video was directed by Cristiano Pedrocco.
