For your information, Australian emerging pop artist Andy Cook has just released his début track entitled "Can't wait" along with a video featuring former AFL player Mitch Brown and rugby league legend Ian Roberts. It's about masculinity, desire, and what it means to belong. It depicts Andy as a younger man -played by dancer Tiggy Treloar- exploring his sexuality within a contact sports locker-room setting, and concludes with Brown and Cook, who are playing the captains of opposing teams, locking lips. The video was directed by Harry Welsh, with cinematography by Jack Birtles, and produced by Alex Cook & Juliette Houdent.
Andy Cook worked as an actor for twelve years, but shifted direction due to an injury which required spinal surgeries. He connected with music producer Jackson Barclay and over time, they began to explore a deeper, queerer side to his songwriting.
